My name is Chris and I am Assistant District Commissioner, Cubs (ADC Cubs). It’s a fancy name, but all it means is that I look after cubs in the whole of Tamworth.

 

My title means that I have to make sure that all of the Cub Packs are running properly and give leaders help if they need it (but they are all so good at their jobs that I never need to do this!).

 

My main job, and the bit that I love the most, is to run District Events for cubs. This is where all of the cubs in Tamworth come together to take part in a big activity, such as a camp, competition (swimming gala, football and cross country), daytrip, concert or loads of other things that are so much more fun when there are lots of other children involved.

 

As well as meeting kids of your age from all around Tamworth, these events let you try new activities that you might not get chance to do in your pack and to play against other packs to win things for your own pack – they’re great!

 

I can’t wait to see you when I visit your Cub Pack or at one of our District Events.
