Hello!

My name is Edna and I am the Assistant District Commissioner for Beavers in Tamworth. I know this makes me sound very grand and official, but it’s just a name that adults use. My job is to make sure that all of the Beavers in Tamworth are having as much fun as they can.

I do this by visiting the Beaver Colonies around Tamworth and meeting with the Beaver leaders to make sure everything is going okay.

Most exciting of all is that I also have to organise big events where all the Beavers in Tamworth join together. These are called District Events. We have several District Events every year. They include a fun day and sleepovers in places like Tamworth Castle – don’t worry, you can bring your favourite cuddly toy with you (mine is a rag doll)!

At these events we do lots of fun things, such as obstacle courses, games, painting, making things, meeting new people (or animals like spiders, snakes, lizards and owls), singing funny songs… so much, in fact, that I don’t have enough space to tell you about here.
